While it was under the command of Captain Durango, the Merced was assigned to work with the U.S.S. Cerritos to recover an ancient generation ship.  Durango’s desire to take command led to both ships being “infected” with a terraforming fluid. The Cerritos managed to reverse the effects, but the Merced was badly damaged. Luckily, its crew were beamed on to a safe area of the generation ship. The model is part of Master Replicas Starship Library – a new range of 4 to 5-inch long models – and is accompanied by a 48-page book. It is one of several limited-edition California-class ships that Master Replicas are producing. Its blue markings show that it belongs to the science division. The U.S.S. Defiant NCC-74205 was Starfleet’s first true warship. It was originally developed to counter the threat from the Borg, but it was considered to be overpowered and unstable, so the project was abandoned. It was revived after Benjamin Sisko made first contact with the Dominion and realized how dangerous they were. The Defiant was assigned to Deep Space 9 and, thanks to an agreement with the Romulans, it was fitted with a cloaking device. The Galaxy-class U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D was Starfleet’s flagship in the 2360s and early 2370s. Under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard it was the first Starfleet ship to make contact with Q. Its crew defeated the Borg during their first attempt to invade the Federation and prevented the Romulans from interfering with the Klingon civil war. It was destroyed in 2371 after an encounter with the Klingon renegades Lursa and B’Etor. The U.S.S. Voyager is one of the most famous ships in Starfleet history. In 2371, it was transported 70,000 light years across the Galaxy by a being known as The Caretaker. Using conventional methods, the journey home from the Delta Quadrant should have taken at least 70 years, but under the command of Captain Janeway, Voyager managed it in seven. Battlestar Galactica's Raptors were the equivalent of helicopters and were used for reconnaissance and transport missions. They were capable of faster-than-light travel and surface exploration. The ship was designed and built as a life-size model by Ken Rabehl of the BSG art department, the robust model was big enough to accommodate five people and use on location. The Eaglemoss model is just under 9 inches (22.5 cm) from front to back.

When Battlestar Galactica returned in 2004, it was with a redesigned ship that cleverly echoed the original. Seen from the side, Eric Chu's design looks radically different but when you spin it around, you see the familiar shapes of the classic version.

In the series, the Galactica is a relic of an earlier age, but its primitive technology allowed it to survive the Cylon attack to become humanity's flagship. The model measures just over 10.5 inches (27 cm) long.

The U.S.S. Europa was Admiral Brett Anderson’s flagship in the early 2250s. It was a Nimitz-class ship with four nacelles and was 383.3 m long. It was lost at the Battle of the Binary Stars when a cloaked Klingon cleave ship tore through its hull. Nimrod-class ships were automated vessels operated by Section 31 in the mid-23rd century. Like other Section 31 vessels, the Nimrod class was fitted with stealth technology and carried a fleet of drone fighters that were embedded in its hull. The U.S.S. Buran was a 23rd-century Cardenas-class starship that was commanded by Captain Lorca. During the early months of the Federation-Klingon war it was involved in a transporter accident that brought the Mirror version of Lorca to the Prime Universe. Another Cardenas-class ship, the U.S.S. Yeager NCC-1347 fought at the Battle at the Binary Stars.
