In the original 1978 show, the Battlestar Galactica was an advanced vessel that led the Colonial fleet. It had a crew of 500 and carried 75 vipers. The ship was designed by concept artist Ralph McQuarrie who started on the new TV show after working on Star Wars. The brief was to create an aircraft carrier and he gave the ship twin pods on outriggers that provided the vipers with a runway they could land on. The model is just over 10.5 inches (27 cm) long.

LIMITED EDITION In the original 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica we were told there were 12 different battlestars but only eight of them were referred to by name. Master Replicas is releasing models of all eight. The Atlantia is being made in a limited edition of 350.  The Atlantia is one of the few Battlestars that appeared on screen. The original series Cylon Baseships consisted of twin discs built around a central column. They served as both heavily armed warships and carriers for the smaller Cylon Raiders. The prestigious Viper Mark One (also referred to as the Starhound Class Viper) is the first model of the Colonial Viper space superiority fighter line. The Mark One first entered military service shortly before the first Cylon war as a pre-emptive counteraction against the now independent Cylon Fleet

The original Cylon Raider is one of Battlestar Galactica's most iconic designs. The ships were typically seen in groups of three in combat with the Vipers, with shots cutting away to the Cylon pilots inside.

The Raider was designed by concept artist Ralph McQuarrie who gave it a disc-shape like the larger baseship and added twin guns on either side.

The model has a wingspan of 7.5 inches (19 cm).

In the original Battlestar Galactica Muffit was a robotic recreation of Boxey's pet daggit, which was killed during the Cylon attack. Despite being a robot, Muffit had a real personality, occasionally getting into trouble and saving the day.

This is one of the very few BSG statues that Eaglemoss produced. It stands just over 4.25 inches (11 cm) tall.
